Window Regulator, Rear Driver Side

Before accessing the Window Regulator of the rear door users should first elevate the window window and proceed with removing the window frame when the Window Motor becomes unresponsive. To begin proceeding with the Window Regulator service, you must first take out the door trim panel as well as the water deflector and door speaker followed by supporting the window frame. Detach the wiring harness from the Window Regulator motor before removing the 3 bolts which are designated as (W0133-1620630) from the Window Motor attached to the front side of the vehicle. The cable gear should not exit the housing since this leads to losing the cable spool. To separate the motor from the cable housing gently move the Window Motor and check its position before removing the motor from the regulator assembly. Process the Window Motor inside the cable housing before attaching the 3 bolts (W0133-1620630) to the Window Motor and tightening them to 5 n.m (44 lb in). To reinstall the window follow this sequence: install the window then establish the wiring connection to the Window Regulator motor before removing the window support. The wire connector installation allows checking the switch function before installing the speaker combined with the water deflector and door trim panel.

Changing the rear side door window regulator starts by lifting and supporting the glass window before trimming both the water deflector and panel. You must uninstall the 2 bolts holding the window to the regulator before removing the bolts from the window regulator. Move the window regulator assembly out from the door through a process involving folding both its sides. Place the regulator inside the door after which bolt it to the window regulator with a torque of 9 N.m (80 lb in). The window glass needs alignment onto the regulator before installing the bolt for window-to-regulator attachment while tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Wrap up the process by putting back the water deflector and trim panel then drop the window while checking its correct functioning.

The process of repairing a rear door Window Regulator begins by raising the window window while supporting it and then continuing with the removal of trim panel along with a water deflector. Begin by disconnecting the Window Motor assembly wiring harness and proceed with removing the two bolts which hold the window to the regulator and the bolts securing the Window Regulator itself. The door Window Regulator assembly needs removal by carefully folding both sides of the structure. You must attach the regulator to the door while consulting the fastener notice in service precautions. Put the bolts on the Window Regulator and tighten them to 9 n.m (80 lb in) before placing the window on the regulator and adding bolts with 9 n.m (80 lb in) torque force. After reconnecting the wiring harness to the Window Motor assembly you should reinstall the water deflector and trim panel. Complete the process by checking the window movement after it is lowered.

Reconnect the window motor electrical connector.

Wiggle the window motor into place on the cable housing, then install the 3 bolts to the window regulator motor, tightening them to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

Remove the bolts that retain the window regulator to the door.

Carefully wiggle the motor to separate it, ensuring the cable gear remains in the housing.

Reinstall the window, then connect the wiring harness to the window regulator motor.

Remove fastener three.

Raise and support the window glass.

Install the bolts to the window regulator and tighten them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Reinstall the water deflector and the trim panel.

Tighten them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Remove the bolts from the window regulator.

Align the window to the regulator and secure it with the bolts, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Attach the regulator to the door, following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Detach the 2 bolts securing the window to the regulator.

Reconnect the wiring harness to the window motor assembly, reinstall the water deflector, and put the trim panel back in place.
