How to replace the rear door window regulator motor on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500?

The first step for replacing the rear door Window Regulator motor includes raising the window while separate window removal becomes necessary when motor operation fails. Start by dismantling the door trim panel followed by the water deflector and the door speaker along with supporting the window itself. Unplug the wiring harness from the Window Regulator motor then take out the 3 bolts (W706202) located on its front side. The motor needs gentle movement to disconnect it from the cable housing while maintaining the cable gear inside the housing to prevent failure. Extract the motor unit out of the Window Regulator mechanism. Place the new motor on the cable housing and install it using 3 bolts (W706202) which should be tightened to 5 n.m (44 lb in). The window installation process starts with reinstalling the window before you attach the wiring to the motor of the regulator. After the wire connection to the switch is established for testing the window operation, reinsert the speaker alongside the water deflector and door trim panel.
