    Q:
How to Replace Coil Springs on Chevrolet Avalanche 1500? Posted by Customer
    A:
To change out the coil spring first, lift and support the vehicle, and support the rear axle. If there is an electronic suspension control (ESC) sensor, you should disconnect it; after that, you can remove the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut from the frame, the lower shock absorber nut and bolt from the rear axle. Lower the rear axle until the springs are unloaded fully and then remove the coil spring and the upper insulator. For installation, start with the coil spring as well as the upper insulator, then lift the rear axle. Install the lower shock absorber retaining nut and bolt to the rear axle and tighten it to 95n.m (70 lb ft). Next, attach the stabilizer shaft link to the frame and fix it by the retaining nut with a tightening of 65 n.m (48 lb ft). Then reconnect the electronic suspension control (ESC) sensor if it has one, remove the rear axle support, and lower the vehicle lastly.

    Q:
How to Replace Coil Springs on Chevrolet Avalanche 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the coil spring replacement process by lifting and stabilizing your vehicle then supporting the rear axle. Start by disconnecting any real time damping (RTD) sensor when present before removing the stabilizer shaft link retaining nut from the frame structure and the lower shock absorber nut and bolt from the rear axle. Unload the springs by lowering the rear axle to its maximum level before taking out both the coil spring and upper insulator. Installation starts with adding the coil spring followed by the upper insulator before elevating the rear axle. Screw and bolt the lower shock absorber retaining components to the rear axle while torqueing them to 95 nm (70 ft. Lbs.). To install the stabilizer shaft link to the frame use the retaining nut for attachment and apply torque to 65 nm (48 ft. Lbs.). After reconnecting the rtd sensor and removing the rear axle support you should lower the vehicle into position.

    Q:
How to replace the rear coil springs on Chevrolet Tahoe? Posted by Customer
    A:
Raise and secure the vehicle and after that, support the rear axle. If your car if fitted with a rtd sensor, disconnect it from the system. Take off the nuts and bolt from the lower shock absorber attached to the back axle. After the back axle is lowered to release all the tension, take off the spring and the upper and lower insulators. To begin, slide the spring into place and set up the insulators and then fasten the rear spring to the rear axle. After this, lift the rear axle. Bolt the nuts from the lower shock absorber to the car's rear axle. Connect the rtd sensor if you have it, next remove the rear axle support and lower the vehicle.
