    Q:
How to replace the inner tie rod on Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
A person should begin with raising and supporting the vehicle before removing the tire and wheel assembly for inner Tie Rod replacement. The installation process begins by first disconnecting the outer Tie Rod End from the suspension knuckle and removing the nut upholding the rear suspension adjustment link which connects to the crossmember. The rear suspension adjustment link is then detached from the vehicle. Install the rear suspension adjustment link on the vehicle using the rear suspension adjustment link nut which must be tightened to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.) at the back side of the crossmember. The outer Tie Rod End installation requires placement into the knuckle before adding the tire assembly together with its wheel. Vehicle lowering should follow before conducting any required rear wheel toe adjustments.
