Mount the backing plate over the axle housing flange and bolt it in place with backing plate nuts at 68 nm (48 lb ft) torque. Install the rear drive components starting with the drive axle and ending with the brake caliper and bracket parts. Hook the park brake cable back to the brake caliper while setting the park brake shoe. After that, put the tire and wheel onto the vehicle and let it down.
