You need to lift the vehicle and dispose of the tire and wheel to work on the Brake Backing Plate. Take off the park brake cable from the rear brake caliper before removing the brake caliper and bracket as a unit. Uninstall the rear brake rotor and park brake shoe before you can remove the rear drive axle. Use an appropriate tool to remove the rear axle housing retaining nuts then detach the backing plate. Mount the backing plate over the axle housing flange and bolt it in place with backing plate nuts at 68 nm (48 lb ft) torque. Install the rear drive components starting with the drive axle and ending with the brake caliper and bracket parts. Hook the park brake cable back to the brake caliper while setting the park brake shoe. After that, put the tire and wheel onto the vehicle and let it down.

In order to remove the front disc Brake Dust Shields, you have to first jack up and support the vehicle, and the tire and wheel assembly. After that, go and remove which is hubbard and bearing assembly, then remove dust shields (15 Series) and dust shields (25 Series). For installation, the first installation is by installing the dust shield (25 Series), followed by dust shield (15 Series), then the hub and bearing assembly. Then, reinstall the tire and wheel assembly, remove safety stands, and lower the vehicle. Make sure that one watches out for precautions in terms of brake dust in the process.

Service and repair of the backing plate requires starting with Brake Shoe removal followed by Wheel Cylinder removal and subsequent Axle Shaft removal. The next step requires users to eliminate the four bolts alongside the washers to free the backing plate. You should put the backing plate back into place but follow the instructions in the fastener notice in service precautions during installation. Start by placing the backing plate into position carefully following the fastener notice in service precautions. Then install the four bolts with washers by tightening them to 48 nm (35 ft. Lbs.). Reinstallation begins with the Axle Shaft before proceeding to the Wheel Cylinder and finally ending with the brake shoes. Brake system bleeding needs to happen next to guarantee proper system functioning.

To replace the Brake Backing Plate you will first need to lift the vehicle and remove the tyre and wheel assembly, then Brake Drum, brake shoes, Wheel Cylinder and Axle Shaft is removed. Then, rotate out the backing plate bolts and pull out the backing plate. For instalment, it is fitting to place the new backing plate and make sure that somehow to follow the notice of the fastener in the service precautions. Tighten the backing plate bolts to 48 nm (35 ft. Lbs.) to secure them in place then install the Axle Shaft and Wheel Cylinder, brake shoes and Brake Drum. Lastly, reinstall the tire and the wheel assembly, lower the vehicle, and add the brake system.

Reinstall the axle shaft, wheel cylinder, brake shoes, and brake drum.

Install the brake rotor and the tire and wheel assembly.
