The rear seat heater switch installation requires you to place the switch inside the console panel but do so with care according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Fix the switch in position by using the retaining screw which should be tight to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in) and complete the installation by connecting the electrical cable and replacing the center console end panel.
