How to replace the rear brake calipers on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

Before working on the rear brake caliper check the brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. Keep the level midway between maximum and minimum marks if possible but lower it if fluid exceeds the midpoint. Lift the vehicle and take off the wheel unit with tire. Pluck down on the park brake cable from the front and detach it from the park brake connector. Press the Brake Caliper Piston towards the bore using a large c-clamp but do not push it more than 1 mm (0.039 inch) to protect the adjustment internals. Detach the brake hose from the caliper using a brass punch tool while removing its bolt and gaskets. Dispose of the copper brake hose gaskets. Block the ports on the brake caliper and pipe to avoid fluid leakage. Lift the park brake cable bracket from its brake caliper position yet maintain attachment of the park brake cable. Unplug the park brake cable from its holder on the caliper. Raise the caliper by removing the lower brake caliper pin bolt only to take it off the top brake caliper pin bolt. When using existing brake caliper retainers and sleeves fit clean them first with denatured alcohol placing new hi temperature silicone lube between their parts. Push the brake caliper onto the upper bolt and let it rest within the bracket before installing the brake caliper pin bolts at 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). Insert new brake hose gaskets to both brake hose ends and affix them to the bolt for the brake hose. Then fasten the brake hose to the caliper bolt using gaskets and tighten it to 45 nm (33 ft. Lbs). Threads the park brake cable into the lever on the new brake caliper before mounting the park brake cable bracket securely at 43 nm (32 ft. Lbs.). Reassemble the front park brake cable to its park brake connector while manually bleeding the brake system. To achieve a firm brake pedal apply the brake pedal to 2/3 of its range, release it slowly, and repeat this step until the pedal presses firmly. To finish the job place the tire and wheel back on the vehicle then let it down.
