How to replace the Ignition Coil(s) for Bank 1 on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

Start by removing the fuel injector sight shield then uninstall both the ignition control module (ICM) electrical connector and the secondary air injection (AIR) vent solenoid electrical connector. After taking out the AIR shut-off valve proceed with the removal sequence to detach the ignition cassette retaining bolts before gently extracting the ignition cassette. Instillation of ignition cassette requires operators to position the grounding spring and insulator properly before securing the spark plug boots to spark plugs and installing the ignition cassette with caution. When installing the ignition cassette retaining bolts apply a torque of 9 N.m (80 lb in) using the recommended installation sequence. Install the AIR shut-off valve while performing the reconnect sequence of AIR vent solenoid electrical connector and ignition cassette electrical connector before installing the fuel injector sight shield.
