Detach the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose from the check valve to remove the instrument panel lower trim piece. First detach the Brake Booster pushrod and brake pedal pin accompanied by their washer and retainer. Then separate the Brake Booster mounting nuts and washers from the booster studs. Inspect Brake Booster seal quality then switch it when necessary. After putting the Brake Booster in front of the dash panel the proper way move the Brake Booster mounting nuts and washers onto the booster studs before tightening them to 27 nm (19 ft. Lbs.). Insert the brake pedal components by first installing the Brake Booster pushrod followed by the brake pedal pin, washer, and retainer. Validate retainer function by rotating it. Install the instrument panel lower trim back on the dash then link the brake vacuum hose to the Brake Booster check valve. Next put the master cylinder on the Brake Booster and tighten mounting nuts to 29 nm (21 ft. Lbs.). Reattach the Brake Fluid Level Sensor electrical connector before winding the washer hose and electrical connector to their washer solvent compartment.
