How to replace the front crankshaft seal on 2001 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the front Crankshaft oil seal, first remove the Crankshaft balancer without damaging the Crankshaft. Next, remove the Crankshaft key from the keyway, and then pry out the oil seal using a large screwdriver or equivalent. Check front cover and Crankshaft for any scratches. When installing the new oil seal, apply clean engine oil and put it in the front cover with the lip facing the engine with the help of the Crankshaft Seal installer and centering tool (J35468). Then re-install the Crankshaft key inside the keyway, and then install the Crankshaft balancer.
