  A: Before working on the rear brake pads inspect the brake master cylinder reservoir fluid level. If this level stands above the midpoint between specified minimum and maximum values drain fluid until it reaches the midpoint area. Place the vehicle on jack stands then mark how the wheel relates to the axle before pulling out the tire and wheel unit. Run a big c-clamp across the caliper body toward the rear and brakes pads. Squeeze until the caliper piston pushes past the rotor surface. Lighten the travel pressure on the hydraulic Brake Line by suspending the caliper with wire rope after you remove both c-clamp pressure and lower caliper bolt. Grab a second large c-clamp and press against the padded surface of an old Brake Pad or wood item to advance the caliper piston completely. Extract the c-clamp from the area and remove the old Brake Pad before taking out both brake pads from the caliper bracket for visual inspection of its retainers. When installing the brake caliper inspect the suspension boots on the caliper bolt for destruction and replace everything once broken while checking the caliper pin bolt for corrosion then replacing it. Check the brake caliper piston boot and perform proper fixes or swap the entire unit when needed. Position the caliper onto the brake pads while sliding it down and coat the backside of brake caliper bolts with little silicone lube before fastening to 31 nm torque. Install the tire and wheel assembly back on before lowering the vehicle and press the brake pedal to 2/3 of its travel when the engine is turned off. Keep pressing the brake pedal until you achieve a solid feel which correctly installs Brake Pad and piston contact. Complete the brake master cylinder reservoir with fluid and let the brake system seat the pads against the rotors.
