Locate the hinge on the body surface and use support for the door. The following step requires removal of hinge bolts both from body component and door unit. After including the hinge to the marks found on the body during extraction, install hinge bolts to the body then tighten them to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Put the hinge to body bolts in place and fasten them to 25 nm (18 lb ft) while installing the hinge to door bolts at the same torque. You should put back the fender sound insulator once you have taken out door support. Drilling the Door Striker for latch operation requires correct alignment so any door adjustments should avoid using the Door Striker to prevent door latch and striker damage. Finish the operation by adjusting the door while patching and painting body color paint to both the hinge and the bolts.
