  A: In order to service and repair the Timing Chain, take the following steps: the removal of secondary rh Camshaft drive chain tensioner, Camshaft position sensor and Camshaft cover on the right side. Make sure the both Camshaft sprocket drive pins are at the top of the rotation, and then install the Camshaft holding tool (J44212) over the camshafts. Remove the mechanics wire supporting the right secondary Camshaft drive chain shoe, and take out the engine front cover bolt. On the hex cast into the Camshaft, apply an open end wrench to prevent the right exhaust Camshaft sprocket bolt from rotating. Slide the right exhaust Camshaft sprocket off the Camshaft and pry the right secondary Camshaft drive chain from the Camshaft sprocket teeth, lift from Camshaft intermediate drive shaft sprocket teeth before removing from the engine. Clean and inspect the Camshaft timing drive components and install the right secondary Camshaft drive chain by moving it straight down and up through the right cylinder head through it and much more on the right intake Camshaft sprocket, much more towards the outer row of the cam shaft intermediate drive shaft sprocket teeth. Mount the right exhaust Camshaft sprocket into the right secondary Camshaft drive chain and onto the Camshaft ensuring that the sprocket notch marked re engages the exhaust Camshaft pin. Use the open end wrench again not to allow for rotation as you tighten the Camshaft sprocket bolt up to 120 nm (89 ft. Lbs.) before you install the right secondary Camshaft drive chain tensioner. Remove the Camshaft holding tool (J 44212) from the camshafts and do finalize installing the right Camshaft cover and the Camshaft Position Sensor.
