How to replace the front brake calipers on 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Raising the vehicle lets you take off the tire and wheel to access the front brake caliper. After taking out the front brake hose bolt apply a plug in the front brake caliper hose to prevent brake fluid leakage and dirt entry during the replacement process. Get rid of both metal/copper gaskets while you install fresh copper ones. Take off the front brake caliper from its mounting bracket by removing the guide pin bolts. Dust the brake caliper guide pin with denatured alcohol as needed and blow it dry with clean non-oiled mist. Put silicone brake lubricant on the caliper guide pin but keep it away from brake pad hardware and hang the front brake caliper back in place on mounting bracket. Fasten the front brake caliper guide pin bolts and secure them to 42 nm (31 ft. Lbs. Torque). Put new metal and copper gaskets on the front Brake Caliper Bolt first. Then install the front brake hose bolt with its new gaskets and tighten the bolt to 40 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). Start the hydraulic brake session by draining it then put back the tire and wheel before lowering the car.
