How to replace the Auxiliary Blower Motor Resistor on 2005 Cadillac DeVille?

Start replacing the auxiliary blower motor resistor by taking off the right console accessory trim panel. First disconnect the electrical connector that links to the blower resistor . Use a socket to remove both screws that keep the auxiliary blower motor resistor in place. Then extract the resistor from the vehicle. Insert the auxiliary blower motor resistor into its designated place and fasten it with screws. Tighten both screws to achieve a torque of 1.4 N.m (13 lb in). Reconnect the electric connector to the auxiliary blower motor resistor and put back the console trim panel.
