How to replace the Exhaust Heat Shield (LH2) on the right side on 2005 Cadillac STS?

The replacement of the right-hand Exhaust Manifold heat shield (LH2) begins with properly raising and supporting the vehicle. Remove all bolts which secure the Exhaust Manifold heat shield to both Exhaust Manifold and put the heat shield off the engine. Secure the Exhaust Manifold heat shield against the engine by installing its retaining bolts while tightening them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
