How to replace the Rear Crossmember in the rear suspension on 2005 Cadillac XLR?

In order to change rear suspension crossmember, elevate the vehicle and take away tire assemblies. Unscrew several parts, hold up the drive shafts on the rear and take off the transverse spring. Place a transmission jack under the crossmember, and unhook electrical harnesses and remove mounting nuts. Install the new crossmember, reconnect parts and lower the vehicle.
