How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Impala?

The first step for replacing the camshaft position (CMP) sensor requires disposal of the coolant recovery reservoir and Drive Belt removal. The electrical connector of the Camshaft Position Sensor needs removal before extracting the sensor bolt and sensor from the engine front cover. Install the new Camshaft Position Sensor to the engine front cover by using the bolt with a torque of 10 n.m (89 lb in) while securing it. Tiime to repeat this sequence: first restore the electrical connection to the Camshaft Position Sensor, reinstall the Drive Belt, after that add the coolant recovery reservoir.
