How to Replace a Vehicle Speed Sensor on 2005 Chevrolet Impala?

Lift the vehicle and set it on stands after presenting the right front wheel for work. Unplug the VSS electrical connector and remove the VSS bolt before taking out the VSS through the extension case. After removing the unit take out the O-ring from the VSS. Set the O-ring on top of the VSS and position it inside the VSS. Always follow the safety standards described in the Fastener Notice before you install the VSS bolt by tightening it to 12 Nm. Route the VSS electrical connector back in place before installing the right front tire and wheel while lowering the car.
