  A: Set the Piston at top dead center (TDC) to prevent the valve from dropping into the cylinder when you work on the Valve Stem Oil Seal. Using the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794), you can break loose the Spark Plug after making sure the recess is free from any dirt. Take off the Rocker Arm and, using compressed air, insert the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into the Spark Plug port, so the valves are kept in place. Put the valve spring compressor (J 38606) onto the valve spring and press down to remove the locks, and afterwards, take off the valve cap and valve spring. Once the valve spring is checked for any damage, take out the Valve Stem Oil Seal. During installation, first put on the Valve Stem Oil Seal, then the valve spring and valve cap. Set up the valve spring compressor (J 38606) to compress the spring again, then put the valve locks in and use grease if needed to keep them in place. Release the valve spring and look to make certain the locks are installed properly. Once the air pressure is gone, take off the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) and put the Rocker Arm and Spark Plug back.
