How to replace the rear disc brake backing plate on 2005 Chevrolet SSR?

In order to change the rear disc brake backing plate, lift the car and take out the tire. Unscrew the park brake cable, and unscrew the brake caliper, rear brake rotor and park brake shoe. remove the backing plate and rear drive axle. Install again, in the reverse order, and change the park brake when necessary.
