    Q:
How to Address Issues with Brake Dust Shields on Chevrolet SSR? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must lift the vehicle and take off the tire to replace the front disc brake dust shields. You must first take out the front hub and bearing before accessing both the dust shield retaining bolts to effectively remove the dust shield. Put the new dust shield into its correct position and fasten it using retaining bolts. Use the same torque pattern as the wheel hub and bearing when tightening the bolts. Put the front hub and bearing assembly back in place and place the tire and wheel assembly over the wheel before dropping the vehicle.

    Q:
How to replace the front disc brake dust shields on Chevrolet SSR? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before replacing the front disc brake dust shields, ensure the vehicle is raised, and the tire and wheel assembly are taken out. Next, remove the front hub and bearing assembly and followed through with removal of the retaining bolts for the dust shields and then the removal of the dust shields themselves. Installation also starts by installing newly acquired dust shields, and securing them back with the help of retaining bolts, which should be secured except the said wheel bolt and bearing. After that, install the front hub and the bearing assembly, then the tire and wheel assembly, and finally lower the car.
