How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2006 Buick LaCrosse?

Remove the left closeout panel and disconnect the electrical connector from the left air temperature actuator, if you wish to remove the left air temperature actuator. Next, unscrew the mounting and take out the actuator. When installing, place the new left air temperature actuator, aligning the slots in the electric actuator driver with the flats on the shaft and the locating hole to the alignment pin of the HVAC module case. Slip the actuator onto the shaft to the point that it is seated totally from the mounting holes to the mounting screws where they meet at the HVAC module case. Mount the mounting screws and tighten them to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) and then reconnected the electrical connector. Finally, reinstall the left closeout panel and adjust the actuator.
