How to replace the front brake disc on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Begin replacement of the front Brake Disc by lifting and propping up your vehicle. Uninstall the tire and wheel parts to detach the brake caliper and caliper mounting bracket assembly from the suspension knuckle. Wire support keep the brake system functioning without damaging the hydraulic tube. Position the Brake Disc on the wheel studs before removing its mounting screw and the disc itself. Before resurfacing clean rust from the axle flange surface using the wheel hub resurfacing kit j42450-a. To finish the process cleanse both the Brake Disc contacts with the rotor resurfacing kit (J41013). Examine both mating surfaces completely before reattaching the Brake Disc to the hub/axle flange by positioning it correctly at the matchmark. Install the Brake Disc securely with the mounting screw and tighten it to 14 nm torque value. After fixing the brake system check lro measurement on the assembled Brake Disc for best disc brake results by trimming the need for adjustment. Affix the brake caliper back to the suspension knuckle and replace the tire wheel assembly. Drop the vehicle properly and if needed perform pad and disc burnishing steps.
