How to replace the rear wheel bearing and hub on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Begin by lifting the car with proper supports then proceed to take off its tire, wheel, and the brake rotor from the rear side. Disconnect both Wheel Speed Sensor connections between the coil and backing plate. Disconnect the wheel drive shaft retaining nut before removing the upper Control Arm from the knuckle with the ball joint remover tool j 43631. When removing wheel retaining bolts hold back from touching the protective boot covering the outer Wheel Bearing. Use Wheel Hub remover j 45859 or its substitute tool to unfasten the wheel drive shaft from the Wheel Bearing/hub before taking out the Wheel Bearing/hub from the vehicle. Keep these precautionary steps at hand during installation then install the new Wheel Bearing/hub and tighten the bolts to 125 nm force. Reconnect the Control Arm to the knuckle by tightening its retaining nut to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.) while making one-quarter of a rotation forward. Use a new wheel drive shaft retaining nut and torque it to 160 nm (118 ft. Lbs.). Replace the brake rotor and reconnect the Wheel Speed Sensor connectors. Lastly, lower the vehicle after fitting the tire and wheel.
