  A: Begin your compressor clutch assembly replacement process by taking off the air conditioning Drive Belt followed by disconnecting the electrical connector from the a/c compressor coil assembly. Crawl space 37872 removes an air conditioning clutch screw for disposal then allows removal of the clutch driver from the splined shaft where two air gap shims exist between components. Following the removal of the a/c compressor pulley and bearing assembly retainer comes the extraction of the pulley and bearing assembly from the a/c compressor. Lewis should first remove the coil assembly retainer before he takes out the coil assembly from the a/c compressor.
