How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

The replacement process starts by uninstalling the generator bracket assembly followed by deleting mounting bolts of the Camshaft Position Sensor. First disconnect the jumper harness for the Camshaft Position Sensor along with the engine harness electrical connectors and then remove the camshaft sensor assembly (4, 5, 6) and disbranch the Camshaft Position Sensor from its jumper harness connection. During assembly install the o-ring to the camshaft sensor assembly (4, 5) then mount it into the front cover using a tiny amount of new motor oil for lubricating the o-ring . First fasten the Camshaft Position Sensor mounting bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft) torque and then reconnect both the generator assembly and the Camshaft Position Sensor assembly (4, 5, 6) with its engine harness connector.
