How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

Before installing a new crankshaft position (CKP) sensor replace the Starter and disconnect the electrical connector attached to the sensor. First clean the area surrounding the ckp before undoing the sensor retaining bolt and removing the ckp sensor. Affix the ckp sensor to its position using the retaining bolt then tighten this bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). After reconnecting the ckp sensor power connector, reinstall the Starter unit. Program transmitters before executing the ckp system variation learn procedure during post-installation.
