How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

You need to raise the vehicle before changing the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) bank 1 sensor 2. Use proper precautions for heated oxygen sensors and sensor configurations to separate the electrical connector from engine harness 2 of bank 1. Separate the bank 1, Oxygen Sensor 2 out from its position in the Catalytic Converter. Installation of the new sensor requires a thread application of special anti-seize compound that combines graphite suspension in fluid with glass beads (P/N 5613695). Future maintenance will be simpler due to the usage of this compound during installation. Apply anti-seize compound to the heated Oxygen Sensor threads prior to inserting the bank 1 Oxygen Sensor 2 into the Catalytic Converter, torque it to 41 n.m (30 lb ft). At the end of the installation procedure both connect the bank 1, Oxygen Sensor 2 electrical connector to the engine wiring harness alongside lowering the vehicle.
