How to replace the ignition coil on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

The replacement process for an Ignition Coil begins with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. First remove the left-side engine sight shield before disconnecting both the Ignition Coil harness connector and the spark plug wire that attaches to the Ignition Coil. You should remove the Ignition Coil mounting bolts while pulling out the Ignition Coil. Once installed replace the Ignition Coil into its proper position using mounting bolts, tighten these bolts to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Tighten the spark plug wire and Ignition Coil harness connector while making sure to secure the harness bolt to 12 n.m (106 lb in). To finish the job reinstall the engine sight shield while reconnecting the negative Battery Cable and programming the transmitters according to need.
