How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

To replace the Knock Sensor (KS), remove the negative Battery Cable first. Then, unplug the left Exhaust Manifold; detach the mounting bolt for the Knock Sensor 1. Remove the Knock Sensor from the engine block by disconnecting the electrical connector of the Knock Sensor from the engine harness and then the Knock Sensor. For installation, reconnect the is engine harness and the is Knock Sensor electrical connectors, place the Knock Sensor on the is engine block and is bolt in for mounting for the Knock Sensor . Put in a tightness the Knock Sensor mounting bolt (20 N.m (15 lb ft)) according to the fastener notice. Next, reinstall a left Exhaust Manifold, reconnect a negative cable, and program the transmitters.
