How to replace the LH Motor and Transmission Mount on 2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

In order to replace the left transmission mount, first, lift and jockey the vehicle, next remove the left tire and wheel assembly, and then remove the left inner splash shield. Place a transmission jack under the transaxle and remove the transaxle mount upper nuts (from the transaxle bracket), carefully lift the transaxle assembly to make it easy to remove transaxle mount lower nuts (from the frame) prior to either side of the transaxle mount. For installation, mount the transaxle mount to the frame and bolt the transaxle mount lower nuts, tightening to 63 nm (46 ft. Lbs.). Lower the transaxle down so that the mount studs go into the transaxle bracket then tighten the transaxle mount upper nuts to 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, take off the transmission jack, replace left inner splash shield, replace left wheel and tire assembly and lower vehicle.
