How to replace the right side exhaust manifold (LP1, LY7) on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

The replacement process of the right side Exhaust Manifold (LP1, LY7) begins by removing the Exhaust Manifold heat shield then unfastening the Catalytic Converter nuts before removing the Exhaust Manifold bolts while discarding the gasket materials. Discard the old gasket after removing the Exhaust Manifold while performing thorough cleaning and examinations of the manifold. Equal inspection of the Catalytic Converter seal/heat shield sealing surface must be completed prior to installation. Treat any detected damage by replacing the components. Set the new Exhaust Manifold gasket on the Exhaust Manifold before attaching it to join the Catalytic Converter and Cylinder Head according to the fastener guidelines. Fasten the Exhaust Manifold bolts tightly to 20 n.m (15 lb ft) while installing the Catalytic Converter nuts which should be tightened to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Finish the procedure by placing back the Exhaust Manifold heat shield.
