You need to disconnect the left rear park brake cable from its support bracket by first removing the cable at the left rear park brake cable support bracket then detaching it from the left rear park brake actuator lever. The Parking Brake Cable Release Tool (J 37043) allows the left rear park brake cable retainer to open before extraction from the left rear park brake cable support bracket . Install the left rear park brake cable (J 37043) onto its bracket by fitting it correctly and securing all locking tabs.
