How to replace the Cam Gear on Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

To fix the camshaft position actuator on bank 1 exhaust start by taking off both the lower Intake Manifold and the right camshaft cover. Disconnect the right sensors for intake and exhaust camshafts then remove the right position and solenoid actuators. Twist the crankshaft balancer bolt in clockwise turns then rotate the balancer to put the camshafts in their neutral position. Mark the camshaft Timing Chain and position actuators while keeping them in correct assembly order. Hammered a paint stick onto Timing Chain links and next teeth on both intake and exhaust camshaft actuators for placement purposes. Fit the en-48313 Timing Chain retention tool (EN-48313) between the camshaft actuators with its feet pointing toward the engine front. Partially expand the tool legs by turning the t-shaped handle clockwise when it makes contact with the Timing Chain. Use the t-shaped handle to expand en-48313 legs toward the front of the engine and then tighten this tool by hand and an open-end wrench. Extract the right exhaust camshaft position actuator while placing the bolt straight into the cam sensor boss. Place the actuator marks onto the marked Timing Chain sections then fit it into position and secure the bolt without over-tightening. End the process by replacing the right intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors and reconnecting the camshaft components, lower Intake Manifold, and tightener bolt.
