To begin replace the Knock Sensor start by removing its mounting bolt and disconnecting the engine harness connector from the electrical connector. Separate the Knock Sensor from its mounting position on the engine block. The installation process involves connecting the engine harness and Knock Sensor electrical connectors to the block followed by sensor placement and bolt installation at 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Install both Exhaust Manifold and Catalytic Converter on the left side of the engine. Reconnect the negative Battery Cable before executing the transmitter programming.
