Start by using a Heat Gun to warm the rear door design at a distance of 150mm (6in); keep the gun 152mm (6in) from the surface while rotating heat over the emblem/nameplate for 30 seconds. Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to gently peel the emblem/nameplate from its panel while a Heat Gun(J25070) melts the adhesive at a distance of 152 mm. Erase all remaining adhesive from both pieces through the use of 3M P/N 07501 or its equal. Use soap and water to clean the damaged area before drying it with a fabric cloth. Clean the affected panel and emblem/nameplate thoroughly using 3M(R) Classic Adhesive Cleaner 08984 or a similar product. Then wipe them with a clean non-abrasive cloth and a mixture of 50% isopropyl alcohol and 50% water. Mark the proper position for installation using masking tape before you secure the rear doors. Affix the label on the right rear door where the vertical edge is 47.5 mm +/- 2 mm (1.9 in +/- 0.1 in) apart while placing it 200.5 mm +/- 2 mm (7.9 in +/- 0.1 in) from the horizontal edge. Place the left rear door with an exact margin of 200.5 to 203.5 mm (+/-2mm) between the horizontal panel line and 47.5 +/- 2 mm from the vertical edge. You must use the Heat Gun (J 25070) to warm the body panel when the temperature falls below 19°C (66°F). Stick 3M(R) Super Automotive Attachment Tape or its equivalent to the surface using white, black, or gray backing tape from 3M(R) 06380, 06377, or 06382 respectively. Avoid handling the tape with your hands and keep it away from dirt. Stick the emblem/nameplate to masking tape or magnet surface for 30 seconds. Remove the tape backing before placing it at the desired spot. Last of all take off the masking tape or magnetic strip from the right rear door.
