  A: Before changing the rear disc brake pads (JE5, JL9) check if the brake master cylinder reservoir shows fluid above halfway between marks. Drain fluid if you need to reach that point. Place the brake caliper guide pin directly into the high-temperature silicone lubricant after the threadlocker has hardened for ten minutes. Secure the bottom brake caliper pin bolt by turning it to 60 nm (44 lb ft). Put the wheel back in its position and lower the vehicle down. When the engine is off apply the Brake Pedal gently to its two-thirds range then ease your hold on it. Keep applying brake and releasing it until you reach a steady and solid Brake Pedal sensation before filling the brake reservoir to normal and conducting Brake Pad polishing and rotor conditioning.
