To replace the engine oil and Oil Filter, one has to first raise and support the vehicle. Put underneath an oil drain pan, remove the oil pan Drain Plug, and let it drain till it is all out of the oil pan. Replace the oil pan Drain Plug and fasten it to 25 nm (18 lb ft). Remove the Oil Filter cap and filter with the help of the j 44887 to loosen the cap and then carefully remove the Oil Filter from its Oil Filter cap. Check the o-ring seal of the Oil Filter cap for damage and replace it if needed. Next, place a new Oil Filter on the Oil Filter cap and then place the Oil Filter cap and filter. Do not over-torque Oil Filter cap to avoid damaging the cap that could result in oil leak. On top of the Oil Filter cap use a j 44887 and tighten it completely without exceeding 25 nm (18 lb ft). Use a j 44887 to tighten the hex on top of the Oil Filter cap.uffman. Finally, lower the vehicle and pour oil in the engine as recommended by the fluid and lubricant and the approximate fluid capacities.
