  A: Correct repair of the Valve Stem Oil Seal requires an en-47823 valve spring compressor adapter and both j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter and j 5892-d valve spring compressor tools. First move the engine until the piston stands at its highest point above the cylinder to secure the valve from dropping. Clean the space around the Spark Plug before removing the tool from its position. Unplug the Spark Plug before taking off the Rocker Arm. Put the j 22794 adapter into the Spark Plug hole then use compressed air to secure the valve before further work. Using the j 5892-d tool compress the valve spring against en-47823 until you can remove all components including valve spring cap keys, valve cap, valve spring, and Valve Stem Oil Seal. Apply clean engine oil to the valve stem before putting in the specific oil seals according to color (black intake and brown exhaust seals). Use the j 5892-d instrument to compress the valve spring as you install both the valve cap and valve spring onto the head. To connect the valve cap keys put grease on them if needed before putting each key in its position. Push compressed air out and pull the j 22794 tool from Spark Plug port. Reopen the engine space and place back the Rocker Arm and Spark Plug.
