How to properly service and replace the Brake Proportioning Valve on 2010 GMC Savana 1500?

In order to swap the brake combination valve, lift and hold the vehicle. Unattach the electrical connector and the brake pipes of the valve. Unscrew the bolt of a valve and extract the valve. Install the new valve, screw the bolt, re-connect the brake pipes and bleed the hydraulic brake system.
