How to replace the rear brake line from the frame to the axle on 2010 GMC Savana 1500?

When replacing the rear brake hose you need to raise your vehicle and support it properly before removing its tire and wheel assembly. Remove all dust and debris from both brake hose and pipe connections. Put a back up wrench on the brake pipe fitting to disconnect it from the brake hose while capping the pipe fitting with a suitable plug. Take out the brake hose retention clip from both its bracket and mounting points while also taking off the jounce hose from its bracket. Also install protective caps to prevent brake fluid exit or contamination. Remove and discard the 2 stuck copper gaskets from the brake caliper and brake hose ends before removing the brake hose to caliper bolt. Install 2 newly assembled copper brake hose gaskets with the brake hose bolt onto the brake hose setup. Feed the brake hose through the caliper bolt assembly with its new washers before tightening the bolt to 44 nm while ensuring the hose keeps away from all suspension parts. Fit the brake hose to the bracket, take off the rubber cap from the brake pipe end, and screw the brake pipe fitting to the brake hose until it reaches 25 nm torque using a back up wrench on the hose fitting. Keep the brake bracket and visible pipe straight. Put the brake hose retaining clip back on its bracket then examine whether the hose touches suspension parts. Complete brake system bleeding before letting the vehicle down.
