How to replace the front brake line on 2010 GMC Savana 1500?

Before working on the brake hose you must lift and secure the vehicle while taking off its wheel and tire assembly. You must clean all contaminated areas off the brake hose and brake pipe fitting before inserting rubber caps. After placing a back up wrench at the brake hose end use it to take off the brake pipe fitting from the hose. Once done secure the pipe end. Thoroughly remove the brake hose mounting bracket retaining clip, then take out the brake hose bracket bolt from both the upper Control Arm and the Steering Knuckle simultaneously. Disconnect the brake hose bolt from the brake caliper and eliminate the 2 gaskets made of copper. Twist-free attach the brake hose to caliper bolt first with the fresh brake gaskets. Install 2 brake caliper washers last and tighten both components to 44 nm (32 lbft). Fix the brake hose bracket bolt to the Steering Knuckle and upper Control Arm using 10 nm (89 lb in) torque while attaching the bracket. Fitting the brake hose into its bracket position and fastening the brake hose retaining clip. Use a back up wrench to join the brake pipe ending with its rubber cap and connect it to the brake hose. Do this carefully to avoid damaging the mounting bracket and brake pipe and apply 25 nm (18 lb ft) force. Empty the fluid from the hydraulic brakes before putting the wheel and tire system in place. Also make sure the brake hose does not touch parts of the suspension or tire and wheel components. Finally, lower the vehicle.
