Before working on the pads check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder reservoir; keep the fluid at midpoint when it is between maximum and minimum marked levels otherwise use a brake extractor tool to adjust fluid down to midpoint. Lift the vehicle and take off the tire and wheel unit from the vehicle. Push the brake caliper pistons forward using a large c-clamp placed over the brake caliper top until it slips off the rotor when the caliper is tightened against the Brake Pad's back face. Using a socket wrench remove the upper brake caliper bolt afterward push the brake caliper downward and take off the brake pads with retaining clips first from the mounting bracket and secondly from the brake caliper connection.
