    Q: How to replace the LH engine mount and engine mount bracket on Buick Rainier?
    A: A technician should start by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable for left engine mount and bracket replacement. Start by removing the cooling fan and by detaching the electrical components and retainer of the manifold absolute pressure sensor and finally removing the sensor itself. The left shock module should be extracted before removing the frame mount. Move to the right and left upper engine mount nuts after which you should raise the vehicle before taking out the right and left lower engine mount nuts. Place the jack on top of the Oil Pan but avoid damaging the oil level sender. The crew settles the vehicle at a lower position while placing a jack onto the Oil Pan along with wood blocks before lifting the engine until the mount stud becomes visible. Start by detaching the left engine mount from its bracket while proceeding to remove both bolts securing the left engine mount bracket and finally extracting the bracket itself. You should first take out the left frame engine mount bracket bolts along with its bracket whenever it proves essential. To install the left frame engine mount bracket keep it in position and fasten the bolts with recommended torque of 110 n.m (81 lb ft). Next you must install the left engine mount bracket before tightening its bolts to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) followed by setting the left engine mount onto the bracket. Young the motor down until it rests on its mounts before screwing right and left upper engine mount nuts to 70 n.m (52 lb ft). Set the vehicle at an elevated position then eliminate the jack before implementing the engine protection shield using bolts for attachment. Right and left lower engine mount nuts should now be installed before torquing them to 70 n.m (52 lb ft). The vehicle can then be lowered. Install the left shock module together with the MAP Sensor , map sensor retainer and electrical connector into place. The procedure ends with connecting the cooling fan hub nut to the water pump shaft before installing the cooling fan while also reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
