Start by disconnecting the air cleaner outlet resonator before you detach the stud nut from the transmission filler tube at the air adapter to slide the filler tube away from the path. The vehicle owner must first uninstall the Oxygen Sensor from the exhaust manifold followed by the oil level indicator tube. Begin by unstarding and removing the 4 heat shield nuts from the manifold before taking out the heat shield itself. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield by fastening its 4 nuts to 10 n.m tightness (89 lb in). Fitting of the new Oxygen Sensor should follow the reinstallation of the oil level indicator. Reinstall the transmission filler tube on its stud by fastening the nut while tightening the transmission filler tube bracket nut to 10 n.m(89 lb in). The last step involves putting back the air cleaner outlet resonator.
