How to replace the rear wheel bearing and wheel hub (FE1, FE3) on Cadillac DTS?

You need to raise the car and position it safely before taking out the wheel including tire brakes rotor and abs sensor for wheel bearing replacement. Pull off the abs sensor wire and remove wheel bearing/hub bolts to withdraw both components plus the brake shield unit. When you put on a new wheel bearing and hub you must first prepare the lower Control Arm surface and matching hole by cleaning them. Install the wheel bearing and hub unit with brake shield onto the Control Arm before tightening its bolts to 50 ft. Lb (68 Nm). You should put back the brake rotor then link the abs sensor wire before assembling the tire wheel into position and dropping the vehicle.
