    A: Begin the right side parking brake rear cable replacement by disabling the Parking Brake Cable adjuster followed by turning the ignition to off position. Lift the vehicle and maintain its position before removing tires along with their wheels. The next step requires shoe removal of parking brakes followed by lowering the rear suspension support to between 152-254 mm (6-10 in). The right Parking Brake Cable fitting must get disconnected from its connection to the parking brake intermediate cable connector. The ch-37043 - Parking Brake Cable release tool enables operators to compress the right Parking Brake Cable conduit locking tabs before removing the cable from its rear frame bracket. You must first remove the parking brake actuator assembly spring clip after which you should press the parking brake actuator arm inward to free the parking brake rear cable fitting from the actuator. You should grasp the parking brake rear cable and pull its assembly toward your body to remove it from the rear suspension knuckle before taking out the cable. When installing the new parking brake rear cable position it completely in the rear suspension knuckle. First push the parking brake actuator arm inside before installing the cable to the actuator and finally secure the spring clip to the actuator assembly. Secure the parking brake rear cable and conduit on the rear frame bracket while completely activating all locking tabs. The right Parking Brake Cable fitting must be joined to the parking brake intermediate cable connector while the installation of the rear suspension support and Parking Brake Shoes alongside the tire and wheel assembly is performed. You should activate the Parking Brake Cable adjustment function.
