    Q: How to replace the fuel injectors in the LLT (3.6L) engine on Cadillac STS?
    A: A mechanics must lower high side fuel system pressure prior to removing fuel injectors from the llt (3.6L) engine. Keep track of the injector alignment positions since it will help with correct installation. Onward from fuel injection Fuel Rail assembly removal you can discard the three Fuel Injector retaining rings. The direct fuel injectors should be extracted as a single unit by disconnecting their electrical connector while using j 2619-01 with j-37281-a if additional even removal assistance is required. The fuel injectors require the removal of their upper o-ring seal together with the plastic spacer, retaining ring, isolator cup and teflon seal. Clean up the Fuel Rail injector bores with the j 39313 alongside en-47909 tools provided there is a necessity for cleaning. Apply gm p/n 12345610 (Canadian P/N 993193) or equivalent silicon-free engine oil to a new o-ring seal before inserting the upper o-ring seal followed by plastic spacer, retaining ring, isolator cup and teflon seal onto the fuel injectors. Install the en-48266-1 to the injector tip without teflon seal lubrication before pushing the new teflon seal into its injector groove. Insert the en-48266-2 onto the injector tip and resize the teflon seal using light force during en-48266-2 rotation. Set the electrical wiring in the correct path to prevent any damage before building the direct fuel injectors and harness together by connecting their electrical connector. Reposition the fuel injection Fuel Rail assembly as the final step.
