You need to start the replacement work by detaching the negative cable connecting to the car battery. Begin the repair by first removing the throttle body air inlet duct as well as the engine mount struts then raise the vehicle and find a suitable support point. To begin install the three-way catalytic converter pipe from the right
Exhaust Manifold and the right front wheel along with tire and the right engine splash shield need to be removed. Start by taking off the three bolts that connect the Engine Mount Bracket to the
Oil Pan and after that remove the upper engine mount nuts followed by unmounting the bracket from the engine mount. To install the system begin with the Engine Mount Bracket attachment to the mount followed by upper nut installation with a torque setting of 47 nm (35 ft. Lbs.). The Engine Mount Bracket requires installation onto the Oil Pan with Engine Mount Bracket-to-Oil Pan bolts which need to be tightened to 58 nm (43 ft. Lbs.). You must reinstall the right engine splash shield together with the right front wheel and tire before finalizing the connection of the three-way catalytic converter pipe to the right (rear) exhaust manifold. Lower the vehicle then remove the engine support fixture (J28467-B) together with the engine support adapter leg set (J36462-A) and the engine support adapters (J28467-9OA). The last step involves mounting the engine struts followed by installation of the throttle body air duct and then reattaching the ground (-)
Battery Cable.
