Before servicing the front Wheel Bearing and hub you need to lift and support the vehicle. Take out the tire and wheel then remove the rotor from the vehicle. Separate the
Wheel Speed Sensor and steer knuckle mounting bracket bolt before disconnecting the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connection. You must remove the hub and bearing assembly mounting bolts from both 15 series and 25 series before pulling out the hub and bearing assembly when you disconnect the front drive halfshaft. Inspect the
Steering Knuckle bore o-ring from a 25 series vehicle before cleaning and replacing it if you find signs of damage, dryness, nicks, brittleness, or a loss of rubber elasticity. After proper preparation clean the Steering Knuckle bore with Wheel Bearing grease. Install the o-ring into the same part (25 Series) and make sure oil reaches the Steering Knuckle bore. Mount the hub and bearing assembly before fastening its bolts to 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.). Connect the front drive shaft assembly and Wheel Speed Sensor after plugging cables into the sensor. Tighten the bolt between Steering Knuckle and Wheel Speed Sensor mounting bracket to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Once done install the rotor and wheel set then step away the stabilizers before lowering the car.
